At Troy Hofer, it is our responsibility to help your child get the best possible education. A good education includes not only learning to read, write, and do math, but learning good social skills. This means learning how to get along with other children, making good decisions, controlling anger, accepting responsibility, and being aware of strengths and opportunities. Many of these skills are taught at home. It is my intent to supplement learning that takes place at home with small-group and classroom instruction.

I am also in the building to help students who are facing particular difficulties. Such family disruptions as an illness, death, or divorce may affect children at school. If your family is experiencing anything out of the ordinary, please let me know. If I am aware of any special situations your child might be facing, I may be able to help. Also, if you have a particular concern about your child, I am available to meet with you to discuss the matter.

When school personnel and parents work together it is a winning combination for children. All children deserve the opportunity to Dream Big. Together, we can help your child realize this goal.
