M.E.R.I.T. stands for the Model for Early Reading Intervention at Troy.  The goal of the M.E.R.I.T. program is to intervene early in order to help students improve their reading skills. M.E.R.I.T. lessons reinforce what the students are learning in the classroom.

Parent involvement is essential for helping students become successful, life-long learners.  Please encourage your child to read every night.  Don't forget that children enjoy listening to you read to them as well!
